(1) /ɨ/ only appears in open syllables as an unstressed allophone of /i/ and /ɪ/.
(2) Only appears word finally and in unstressed syllables.
(3) /ə/ only appears in open syllables as an unstressed allophone of vowels other than /i/ and /ɪ/.

While there is no distinction made between long and short vowels, unstressed vowels tend to be slightly reduced.
